UK hospitals may be left without drugs after Brexit

Hospitals and emerge1ncy services in the UK warned that they could soon run out of drugs if Britain left the EU without a plan on future cooperation, the association of medical organizations NHS Providers told the Associated Press.

In a letter to the National Health Service, the NHS Providers said they believe that if the British government decides to leave the EU without a clear-cut deal on relations post Brexit, the entire supply chain of medicines to the country’s medical facilities may collapse.

In addition, the lack of an agreement (no-deal Brexit) will hit the citizens of the European Union, who work in healthcare on the territory of Britain.
